Our company is a creative and professional manufacturer and exporter in China of edge cutting segment for granite. We pursue the best edge cutting segment all along since we started. Adhering with this goal, we researched and developed an advanced technology for arrayed diamond cutting segment, someone call it as Arix diamond segments. In this sophisticated technology, every diamond particle positioned in correct location among the matrix, so that every diamond in the same working layer can cut simultaneously, that is why this kind of edge cutting segment for granite can make sure the sharpness and long lifespan. Definitely it ensures the cutting performance and clean cutting results.
Hereby, kindly check its main advantages as follows,
1). Precisely controlled the distance between diamond particles, we can adjust the sharpness of diamond segment as per customers' requirements.
2). Longer life than average edge cutting segments.
3). Sharp cutting and lower noise.
4). Higher cutting speed and feed speed.
5). Power saving.
6). Workable for wide range of granite.
7). Lower cutting cost per unit of stone slabs.

What are the main factors affecting the machinability of stone processing?
Stone processing mainly includes sawing, cutting, grinding and polishing. Sawing and cutting are the same, grinding and polishing are different, but they are very similar. Therefore, the machinability of general stone usually refers to sawability and grindability. The main factors affecting the machinability of stone are as follows in our opinions:
(1) Hardness of the stone
In general, harder the stone, more difficult to process and the greater the wear on tools.
(2) Mineral composition and chemical composition of the stone
The material composition includes mineral composition and chemical composition. Different mineral composition and chemical composition have different processability. For example, the rock-forming minerals of marble are mainly calcite and dolomite, and their Mohs hardnesses are 3 and 3.5-4 respectively, which are lower in hardness than granite and easy to process. The main rock-forming minerals of granite are quartz, orthoclase, and plagioclase, and their Mohs hardness is 6.5-7. Its machinability depends largely on the content of quartz and feldspar, the higher the content, the more difficult it is to process. In terms of chemical composition, the higher the content of SiO2, the more difficult it is to process.
(3) The structure of the rock
Generally speaking, stone with uniform particles is easier to process than uneven stone, fine-grained stone has higher polishing quality than flake and dense stone which has higher gloss than loose stone. Minerals with good crystallization degree, directional arrangement and consistent optical axis direction will greatly improve the glossiness after polishing. Rock cleavage, grain boundaries and initial cracks are also important factors affecting workability.
In addition, the selected processing tools and process parameters are all factors that must be considered.
